WHAT'S NEW IN RAILWAYS

We are an official Hornby stockist and can supply anything from Thomas the tank engine through to the Hornby live steam sets.

We endeavour to have a wide range of rolling stock available and usually have any new releases in stock.

We have all sections of track and points, point motors and controllers. We also have a wide range of the Skaledale (OO) and Liddle End (N) cast resin buildings. These are very detailed, and unlike some ranges, have see through windows and are hollow to aid lighting.

Hornby have recently purchased several continental companies formerly under the Lima brand name including ELECTROTREN, RIVAROSSI, ARNOLD, and JOUEF. These will now be marketed under the name of HORNBY INTERNATIONAL and we will be happy to supply to order any items required from this range.

Bachmann produce a wide range of British outline locomotives, coaches and wagons. They are mainly aimed at the enthusiast rather than the younger end of the market.

We keep an ever changing range of Bachmann products and always try to have any new releases when they become available.

We also keep a small selection of Bachmann American in both N gauge and HO, both the ordinary Bachmann and the Spectrum super detailed range.

The most popular range of N gauge models we keep in stock is Graham Farish who are now part of the Bachmann group of companies. One by one the old Farish locos are being re-introduced with updated mechanisms and motors which have vastly improved their running characteristics. We usually have a wide selection of steam and diesel locos, coaches, and many different types of wagons. Please give us a call to discuss your requirements.

Graham Farish have recently introduced their first all new model of a LNER V2 locomotive which looks superb.

If its N gauge you require, one of the best makes we stock is Dapol who  recently burst onto the N gauge model railway scene with their superb range of locos, wagons and coaches. However please be aware that these models are made in very small numbers, so to avoid disappointment, we would recommend pre-ordering before the release date. We also keep a selection of Dapol OO wagons of various types,5 plank coal wagons, 7 plank wagons, hoppers and vans.

The Peco range of track is generally regarded as the best available. We have in stock Peco streamline flexi track in N gauge and OO. We also have the full range of N gauge setrack. Any gauge from Z to gauge 1 can be supplied to order. Peco also produce a wide range of building kits in many scales.
